|
|
Are there any ski resorts in Washington that offer childcare or lessons for kids as young as three? My husband and I used to board all the time, but ever since having our little one we've found the WA resorts aren't very accommodating when it comes to families. We have been spoiled by places like Mammoth and Steamboat. When she was really small we would just walk around the lodge with her in the sling. We'd love the chance the ride together on the slopes. Any ideas? |

A friend runs Cascade Ski School on Crystal. I think they start them a little later.
Powder Kegs is at Snoqualmie and my husband seems to think that's the youngest you can take them (not sure of the age). You can probably call/look on internet?
Maybe Whistler if you want to do a family trip one weekend/week?
Good luck! Sounds fun! I can't wait to take my kids. I grew up in Alaska and started skiing when I was 2-it was a way of life up there. |

Not Washington...but Canada has a great resort called Sun Peaks. They have a daycare (should reserve a spot in advance especially on weekends) which was great. It was really kid friendly there. We were able to drive but it was an all-day drive. |

Just wanted to update I found White Pass and 49 North both offer child daycare- these are bit further from Seattle, but may be worth the trip! |
