“Near the forfront of the next generation of parenting tools...Red Tricycle is not your mother's parenting aide. Readers are razr-phone-toting, book-club-joining moms who at least know what a blackberry is."
Seattle Post Intelligencer April 2006

Sole Food moved across the lane from its original location, and the fresh space is full of fall style for the whole family and still conveniently close to University Village's popular play area. The new décor is cozy and the bigger space means an even better selection than before. Sole Food carries the most unique colors and styles from trusted brands, and their service can't be beat. In kids' shoe shelf news, local fave See Kai Run joins styles from perennial pleasers Umi, Primigi, Keen, Merrell, Ecco, New Balance, and Vans in colors and fabrics you won't see anywhere else. We love graphic-printed rain boots from Chooka for Seattle moms and daughters, especially the tattoo-esque swallows, hearts, horseshoes, and roses. Little Girls are as stylish as their savvy moms when both wear styles from Frye we practically melted at the adorable turquoise-studded girls' cowboy boots. The wall full of drool-worthy women's shoes and the spattering of hot handbags make Sole Food a favorite boutique for Mom as well as the kids. Men aren't left out, either, with a selection of styles from Vans, Keen, Converse, Cydwoq, and Merrell. Everyone (including Baby!) can stay warm this winter with the plethora of fun-patterned socks from Smartwool. One trip to Sole Food, and the family's ready to stroll.
