“Near the forfront of the next generation of parenting tools...Red Tricycle is not your mother's parenting aide. Readers are razr-phone-toting, book-club-joining moms who at least know what a blackberry is."
Seattle Post Intelligencer April 2006

A barefoot blondie blows kisses. Sisters suck on blue-and-white swirled lollipops. Brothers climb up a playground slide. These sweet and true images are among the masterpieces included in Libby Lewis's online portrait gallery.
For six years, Libby has been inviting Little Ones out to play, and photographing those moments of kids being kids. Her fine arts study at Smith College culminated in her passion for documenting everyday life with the eye of a master. Many of the families she photographs hire her year after year; Libby loves following the growth of a child.
Kids often ask her, "Are you staying to play?" And Libby wishes she could. That playfulness is a testament to how perfectly in synch this photographer is with what it means to be a child. She captures kids at play in their world by warming up with a chat, showing her silly side, and encouraging the kids to go, go, go.
Each approximately-one-hour session ($275.00) with Libby, who works everywhere between Tacoma and Everett, results in a professionally-bound eight-inch-by-eight-inch linen proof book filled with thirty-five or so of your child's most precious shots. The book tells a story: Little One playing at the park, running through a field, pedaling the tricycle, doing what it is that Little Ones love to do.
The book becomes a keepsake for you to share with friends, and the same images are posted to an online server where you can order your favorites to be printed and sent straight to your home.
Libby says, "I have the best job in the world. When people refer me to friends or come back year after year, I feel so lucky. I feel honored that people let me give them the gift of recording their child's memories, and creating the photos from which that child will remember a certain time. I remember all of my clients; I remember their kids' names, I even remember their dogs' names. We form a really great bond.Ó
We're so pleased to introduce you to your family's new playful photographer, Libby Lewis.
