“Near the forfront of the next generation of parenting tools...Red Tricycle is not your mother's parenting aide. Readers are razr-phone-toting, book-club-joining moms who at least know what a blackberry is."
Seattle Post Intelligencer April 2006

Linsenmayer should know. A dentist for fifteen years, she works with infants through eighteen-year-olds. She decided to focus on pediatric dentistry because of the amount of oral disease and decay she saw in the American Indian and Alaska Native children she's worked with for ten years. Now, she holds a Masters in dentistry and a Masters in public health, and she fully understands the particular needs of children.
For toddlers, Linsenmayer focuses on trust. She chats with Little One, then performs a simple exam. Each visit is tailored to the child; lap sits are available. Parents are included in the process, and are educated throughout about fluoride and other factors in promoting oral health.
Kiddos get toys as they leave, and often look forward to coming back. "I enjoy the kids, and I want them to enjoy me, too," Linsenmayer says. "My goal is that they trust me as a dentist, and that sets them up for good habits. But if they have problems, I know how to help them through that, too."
It's time to meet your new friend and teacher, who will make sure office visits are a feel-good experience for the whole family. Pass it on.
PS New patients will have a chance to win a package from family photographer Barbie Hull.
