“Near the forfront of the next generation of parenting tools...Red Tricycle is not your mother's parenting aide. Readers are razr-phone-toting, book-club-joining moms who at least know what a blackberry is."
Seattle Post Intelligencer April 2006

When we think of an iconic pregnancy photo, our minds go straight to Demi Moore's Vanity Fair cover. That photo, taken by Annie Liebovitz and featuring Moore's naked pregnant body, was never meant for the cover. It was a personal shoot for Moore's family. Meet the woman who can give your family equally stunning results.
Jennifer Loomis, a photojournalist who came to Seattle direct from documenting life in Kenya, started receiving referrals from Liebovitz fifteen years ago. Since then, Loomis has used her documentarian eyes and mind trained to detect emotion to highlight the beauty of pregnant women. Her gorgeously authentic work quickly designated her a pioneer in the field. She moved into photographing families and children a few years later, and continues to do both kinds of work.
Loomis's art has been featured on numerous television shows and in stacks of magazines. She says, "All the press is cool, but it's really cool when you can change the way someone feels." Loomis invites clients into to the living room of the Capitol Hill house-turned-studio where she works her magic, for chats about art and life. She does yoga with clients, saying, "It gets everybody grounded and focused for whats about to go on." Women come out of the experience saying that they feel beautiful.
Loomis is the photographer of choice for your family's intimate moments and for uncovering the art in your pregnant form; while your shot probably won't end up as a Vanity Fair cover, that won't be for lack of beauty.
