“Near the forfront of the next generation of parenting tools...Red Tricycle is not your mother's parenting aide. Readers are razr-phone-toting, book-club-joining moms who at least know what a blackberry is."
Seattle Post Intelligencer April 2006

Little One has been twirling, dancing, singing, and jumping since, well, as long as you can remember. Channel that energy into artistry with a variety of affordable dance classes at the brand-new Emerald Ballet Theatre in Bellevue. The instructors, who come with widely-traveled backgrounds and impeccable qualifications, love to help children find their dancing hearts and learn to express themselves creatively. Classes are offered from age 3 to adult.
The school's founder, Viktoria Titova, brings her experience as a world-class performer (having toured with the Bolshoi Theatre-Grigorovich Company) and training in the Vaganova tradition, to this beautiful new school where children are encouraged to focus on the joy of movement while also learning traditional steps.
Sarah Jacobsen, a dancer trained in the Virginia Tanner method, educator, and mom of 4 young children, teaches the pre-school classes and incorporates rhyming, songs, stories, and the structure of music into her classes and believes all of these elements come together to help children learn the steps & movements. She makes sure there is time during each class for children to explore and use their own imaginations while practicing their movements.
Emerald Ballet Theatre also offers Irish Dance (see website) and Rhythmic Gymnastics taught by Tiana Grow who has choreographed for the Ukrainian Olympics Team and worked with various Olympic medalists. An extensive Roots & Wings Community Outreach Program is in development to bring the arts to everyone. Be on the lookout on their website for a free monthly sample class called Time Out For The Arts.
