“Near the forfront of the next generation of parenting tools...Red Tricycle is not your mother's parenting aide. Readers are razr-phone-toting, book-club-joining moms who at least know what a blackberry is."
Seattle Post Intelligencer April 2006
Thank you for being so smart, clever and witty! I’m enjoying my subscription and appreciate what you’re doing.

There are only a few things that make a pregnant woman happy in her third trimester. Ice Cream. Foot massages. And a photo session with Elisha Rain.
Maybe it's her passion for women's issue, or her training as a doula, but nobody captures the beauty of the pregnant body quite like Rain. As you browse through her gallery of portraits, you're witness to a celebration of womanhood: a joyous pregnant woman immersed in the sea, another swathed in delicate white fabric, an intimate studio image of husband and wife, bodies intertwined. (Warning to those with children: you will be tempted to get pregnant all over again)
Rain's clients rave about the "the experience" of working with her, and what's not to love? From beautiful settings to thoughtful music and comfortable conversation, Rain covers all the bases, so mamas-to-be can kick back and enjoy the ride. You'll start by sorting through all of your clothing and props, then once to the session starts, it's playtime as you experiment with different poses, different backgrounds and different moods in a totally collaborative environment.
If this all sounds like fun and games, try to remember that you're in the hands of an accomplished photographer, as Rain holds a BFA degree in fine art black and white photography and has worked with some of the best photographers in the world during her stint at Time Warner in NYC.
And her training in visual artistry and expression are evident when you see the end result: spectacular portraits to be cherished for a lifetime.
