For Dr. Michael Koczarski, becoming a dentist isn't just a job, it is his passion. Graduating first in his class from UW, Dr. K (as his patients call him) has quickly catapulted to success with an impressive resume, including a two-time winner of the coveted Top Cosmetic Dentist award in Seattle Magazine and the only northwest dentist to be featured on ABC's Extreme Makeover.

In practice since 1989, this much-in-demand doc stays true to his founding philosophy: "Patients come first." From advanced laser whitening systems to digital x-rays that use less radiation to state of the art smile designs and full mouth reconstructions, Dr. K is always thinking of his patients' needs first. His modern office offers a warm, comfortable environment complete with DVD movies, music, water and coffee bar.

Though much of his recognition focuses around his cosmetic artistry, Dr. K also has a thriving family practice. He understands that visits for kids should be "fun, educational and make a positive impression." That's why he sets aside a monthly Kids' Day, filled with games, prizes and costumes.
