“Near the forfront of the next generation of parenting tools...Red Tricycle is not your mother's parenting aide. Readers are razr-phone-toting, book-club-joining moms who at least know what a blackberry is."
Seattle Post Intelligencer April 2006

In black and white, a pregnant woman admires her belly. Another gazes out a window, clearly dreaming about life with Baby. A mother is reflected in the shining eyes of her newborn. A family laughs, playing in their backyard. These images and more slices of genuine emotion fill the gallery of Clare Marie Barboza. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in photography from Cornish College of the Arts and sixteen years of professional experience, lifelong Seattleite Clare Marie is the choice photographer for art lovers.
She says, "My background, degree, and passion is all in fine art. I approach my work from that perspective, as an artist." Clare captures glimpses of real emotion in all of her subjects, but says that her infant and maternity shoots are the most artistic. We're talking about a serious artist, but not a brooding one. She brings her sense of humor to her work, and ensures that people feel comfortable in front of her camera.
With young children, she loves to work in the subject's own environment, where Little One feels safe to explore the environment. Whether your session takes place in Clare's West Seattle home studio or on location at your home or the location of your choice parks are optimal, and once you've glanced at Clare's fine art nature photography, they become an option that's too good to resist you'll enjoy the experience and come away with a true family heirloom.
