Just spend a few minutes with Alyssa Rose and you'll catch her energy. Alyssa connects with her smallest of subjects by drawing from her college years working with children as nanny-extraordinaire. She knows what it takes to get kiddos comfortable during their portrait sessions. Peppy tunes from the Madagascar soundtrack (for toddlers & big kids) or slow soothing melodies for the babies are just a few tools of her trade. Staging races to get kids moving and smiling are also not unheard of in her studio. Her philosophy? Wear them out a little at first and get the mellower shots at the end; capturing the full range of their personalities.

Alyssa's love for photography is a family thing passed down from her late grandfather who chose it as a hobby. Luckily for us, Alyssa chose it for her career. She studied photography at Seattle University where she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with honors. A custom white backdrop provides the signature look for her crisp studio portraits, or you can choose to have Alyssa meet you on location for photos of babies, children, families, and expectant mothers. Don't want to leave out your first baby....Fido? No problem, as Alyssa's a huge dog lover and welcomes pooches into her boutique Greenlake studio with open arms. Photo sessions typically take between one - two hours with room for breaks as needed for snacks or >nursing infants. Alyssa offers a wide range of services including a Growing Up Plan (perfect for a unique shower gift), photos a la carte, stretched canvas, fine art print enlargements, framing, and photo books. Alyssa does all the work, delivering a complete portrait package, leaving clients free to stop and smell the roses.
