“Near the forfront of the next generation of parenting tools...Red Tricycle is not your mother's parenting aide. Readers are razr-phone-toting, book-club-joining moms who at least know what a blackberry is."
Seattle Post Intelligencer April 2006
Thank you for being so smart, clever and witty! I’m enjoying my subscription and appreciate what you’re doing.
Your information reads like YOU are having fun and that’s worth a lot! Thanks for many good ideas.

It's like a birthday party every day at Izilla Toys. From games to big toys to plush, to top-of-the line dolls from Petit Collin, every kid will drool in this store (and that's fine by the friendly staff!). Now in its new Capitol Hill location, Izilla has doubled its size. Translation: Lots more goodies! Woo! Up next for the kids' paradise? A new, complete bookstore; to get ready, they're already selling a small selection of picture books, early readers, chapter books, teenage novels, graphic novels, and comic books. We love that Izilla remembers that older kids need fun stuff, too! Adventuresome kids will love the MotoStik, a high-tech pogo stick that's used by Motocross racers as a training tool. The non-bouncers in your family can pick up a unicycle, or a scooter. Younger kids flip over the huge selection of Playmobil. You'll love the sturdy European construction from companies including Kathe Kruse, Haba, and Selecta Spielzeug. One day every month (usually the last Sunday) is kids' lucky day, otherwise known as Allowance Day. On Allowance Day, kids spending their own money get 15% off of their purchase. Plus, Izilla donates 10% of all sales on Allowance Day to local children's charities. Our favorite even-the-dollar-I-earned-for-taking-out-the-trash-that-one-time-can-buy-it find: adorable erasers imported from Japan, in the shape of things like squirrels and hamburgers. Don't forget to join the Birthday Club when you stop in to explore and shop; if you join, you'll get a card and gift in the mail when it's close to your big day! What a wonderful world.
