“Near the forfront of the next generation of parenting tools...Red Tricycle is not your mother's parenting aide. Readers are razr-phone-toting, book-club-joining moms who at least know what a blackberry is."
Seattle Post Intelligencer April 2006
Thank you for being so smart, clever and witty! I’m enjoying my subscription and appreciate what you’re doing.
Your information reads like YOU are having fun and that’s worth a lot! Thanks for many good ideas.

Not
only does West Seattle have the beach and parks as a draw for families
from all over Seattle, but it’s also become a
destination for some of the coolest kid-centric shops. Now, Mamas-to-be
can get their shopping on, too. There’s a new store with maternity
clothes so yummy, you’ll be tempted to get knocked-up again
just for the shopping. Seattleite Rosa Lim and her husband Raingsey
one month ago opened On the Way Maternity, just a short walk from
the West Seattle Junction. When she was expecting her first child,
Lim had trouble finding cute maternity clothes. “I still wanted
to be trendy and attractive. My husband and I drove to Canada so I
could get unique clothes!” Save your gas, because On the Way
features all the styles you want, right here at home. We love the
giant selection from Australian label Ripe – dresses, pants, work wear, casual
tops and tunics – and the fit of Tala denim (not to mention
the family-friendly price tag). Born Fit offers cute gym outfits and
yoga supplies, Belly Basics makes the perfect sweaters to cozy up
in, and Pure T’s soft and adorable-but-sophisticated graphic
tees can’t be beat. Stock up on
Glamourmom camis with built-in nursing bras for when baby arrives.
The new lifesaver of a shop also carries breast pumps, baby feeding
accessories, diaper bags from Pos Baby and strollers from Phil & Teds.
