“Near the forfront of the next generation of parenting tools...Red Tricycle is not your mother's parenting aide. Readers are razr-phone-toting, book-club-joining moms who at least know what a blackberry is."
Seattle Post Intelligencer April 2006

Sweet Savings
flora and henri
When the posh children's clothier flora and henri puts its clothes

will be pony rides (no joke), delish hot cocoa and crafts. And,
everything in the store will be 30% off. Boo yah!

December 11, from 12 - 4 pm
Info.: 206.749.9698

Pssst ... did you know? The company also has an outlet
store at 808 East Roy St., only open Monday through Friday from
9 am - 5 pm. Phone: 206.749.0004. If you don't score at the sale,
try the outlet.
Plum
Another posh boutique for children, Plum, is marking down some
of its impeccably made Italian and French winter shoes and boots
from Naturino, Mod8, Pom d'Api and Primigi. Look for savings up
to 30% off.
When: Tuesday, December 6, from 10 am to 5 pm

Jr. Way and Lake Washington Blvd.)

Better than TV
Sleeping Beauty
Due to a curse, Briar Rose, a.k.a. Sleeping Beauty, pricks her

love's kiss can break the spell. Recommended for ages five and
older.
When: December 2 - February 4, 2006
Info.: 206.441.3322
Location: Charlotte Martin Theatre at Seattle Children's
Theatre, 201 Thomas St., located at the west entrance to the Space
Needle

Artsy Fartsy
Imagine Children's Museum*
It's Kids' Night Out-no,
not Kids Gone Wild-at the famed children's museum in Everett!
That means you and your sig. O get to drop the little devils off
and do something "adult" like go to a quiet dinner. The theme
of the evening is appropriately Winter Wonderland. Kids make snowmen
and snow globes, play games such as the snowball relay and eat
wintry snacks. Come 9 pm, they should be exhausted and ready for
a blissful slumber where they just may dream of sugarplum fairies.
Recommended for ages four to 12. You must pre-register.
When: Saturday, December 3, 6 to 9 pm
Info.: 425.258.1006 ext. 1012
Location: 1502 Wall St., Everett (exit at Pacific Avenue,
exit #193, off of I-5)
Prices: $20 for the first child; $10 for each additional
sibling (non-members). $18 for first child; $9 for each additional
sibling (members).
